NEW OFFICIAL TANGLE 'ING', and INCHIE 'RED'

Weekly Challenge #184
New Official Tangle: 'ING' by Molly

This week's challenge is to use Molly's new Official Tangle, 'ING'. It was fun, and it reminded me so much of Origami! I thought later that I should've tried to make a swan out of 'ING'. Maybe I'll give that a try another time. Thank you Molly, for such a fun tangle!
Tangles used; 'ING', 'Paradox', Tipple', and 'Maryhill'
"I JUST WANT TO GIVE A BIG SHOUT OUT, TO ALL OF THOSE WHO TRIED MY TANGLE 'X-DID'!! EVERYONE'S TILES WERE BEAUTIFUL, AND IT WAS SO EXCITING TO SEE HOW CREATIVE EVERYONE WAS WITH IT! THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH AND FOR ALL THE WONDERFULLY FRIENDLY COMMENTS!!!!"

Ps. If you had troubles leaving comments on my blog, I think I have solved the problem. But by doing that, all my previous comments were deleted. So I'm sorry if I don't get back to you if you had left a question. I don't have the original comments. But I think the problem is solved. (I will soon find out.)
Have a blessed week!

Weekly Challenge
'Red'

Sunday night, I was racking my brain, thinking, what am I going to do for this week's challenge?????? Hmmmmmmmm. Well, so coincidental, my kids happened to be watching a movie called 'Hoodwinked!'. It so happens that in the movie, Little Red Riding Hood, is referred to as, "Red". (They didn't end up watching the whole thing, but it was enough to give me inspiration.)
So here is 'Red'.
I actually had a visual in my head of what I wanted to do, but wasn't sure if it was going to turn out. I don't have fabric around my house. So I had to use paper.

I used my embossing tool and added some shading. Pictures don't really do things justice sometimes, but there really are ripples in her cape.

Have an awesome week and we'll see you next week!!

Terrific Challenge Tile, Annette. Love the way your ING elements interacted with one another, especially the one that passed through the other. White on black tiles are so impactful. Love your "Red" challenge.

Your inchie is so cute, with the 3d hoot. And your ZIA with ING is awesome on the black paper. And I too was thinking that I should try to draw something origami like (crane bird)

Love your inchie. Very good work in such a small space. Your tile for ING is beautiful and it does remind me of origami. I enjoyed using X-Did and am still play-ING around with that one also.

Your little red riding hood is fabulous. The cape seems to swirly and there are definitely folds in it.

Your ING is also great. It seems to look like a creature with a body and legs sticking out and a tail. I like the different colours, especially the white. Well done.

Blogger is being a "booger" today. I can't respond to people that wrote on my blog and yours put me through the ringer before it would let me post! Anyway, I LOVE both of your pieces. I think the softness and color of the Ing is wonderful and I actually gasped when I saw Little Red's riding hood. Brilliant!

Great job on the challenge tile. I really like the one that passes through the "window" in ING. Thid looks really great on the black paper.

The ripples are surely there. I can see them :)

The ING tile is very strong. And the origami is clearly evident.

Why do I see a dancing figure there?

Your ING tile is terrific. The white and color on black gives it a sort of eerie look.

I love your tangle and your inchie.
The black background for the tangle is very beautiful.
Even without reading I remembered Little Red Riding Hood. Fantastic.
